The Event!

At our house there is an Event that takes place twice a day.  Please know this bi-daily Event is always preceded by loud barking, tail spinning, and jumping.  In it's entirety, the Event lasts a total of maybe 120 seconds.  The Event itself is characterized by sounds of snorting, grinding, and a bowl being shoved along the base of the cabinets.  The Event of course, is meal time with The Beagle!

The Event is usually followed by several trips in and out of the house.  It is also followed by vigorous snarfing (combination sniffing and licking) of both his own bowl and his sister's bowl.  Finally after it is obvious that nothing edible remains, the Event is concluded with the Pass Out!  On rare occasion he is lucky to land on top of a super warm heating pad:)
